In Memory of Moose!

Our beloved Moose had to be put to sleep after he was diagnosed with bone cancer. Poor guy! We only had Moose a couple of years but it really doesn't take too long for kids to become super attached and not remember life without him! My heart hurts for my kids, it's such a hard life lesson losing a pet. Don't get me wrong I'm sad for me too and Bill (who claimed not to like him all that much then balled like a baby when it came time to put him at rest)!:)

Moose came to us originally because his previous owners wanted to give him a better life. A life where he had more space (he was quit a big dog:)) to run and just be a little more active! I think it took awhile for me to attach to him and him to us but those labs and there unconditional love is unmatched and soon he was just part of our family! I feel guilty because sometimes taking care of him was just another job for me to do and I would get all irritated by him just being him-you know! A pet as much work as they are and sometimes such an inconvenience really do add a lot more Joy to the family! Oh man the tears! Anyways he was an Awesome dog and will be super hard to replace! We probably won't try for a while but someday because it is better to love (with a lot of work involved:)) than to not love at all!

RIP Mr. Moose!
